Harrison Residence - Eugene, Oregon

With some of the most spectacular views in Eugene, Oregon, the design of the Harrison Residence sought to create multi-level outdoor "rooms" from which the residents could enjoy and embrace their surrounding landscape.

A cascading stream falls into the koi pond located along the edge of the covered patio. The roof of the covered patio supports a unique outdoor spa offering elevated and private views. A small lawn adjacent to the patio creates an upper open space area and is connected via stairs to a lower lawn terrace. The planting design sought to frame and enhance the special views of this site.
